Live voices · Low lights · Grown company
An intimate evening of live vocal performance for grown folks who came to listen. One featured voice, one theme, a limited number of seats, and a room that leans in.
Seating is limited every session.
Singers Lounge Sessions is a monthly night built around the voice. The lights go down, the room gets quiet, and a featured artist sings close enough that you feel every note.
Each session has a theme that shapes the music, so no two nights are the same. Come for the songs, stay for the people. Regulars become family here.
Come upstairs. Stay a while.
One artist each session, given the whole room. Every featured artist is paid for their art.
Each session tells a story: the writers, the history and the love songs behind it.
Limited seats, low lights, good drinks and grown company. Phones down, hearts open.
an evening of song
We open the doors in February with a celebration of Black love in every form: the writers who gave us the words, the history that shaped the sound, and the love songs that raised us. Expect classics, deep cuts and a few surprises, delivered up close.
Sophisticated and sexy. Grown and sexy, for a new generation. Dressing up is part of the night: it tells the artist you came to listen, and it makes the whole room glow.
Wear the thing you've been saving.
Oakland native Parris Lové is a vocalist rooted in neo-soul, jazz and R&B, raised in a city that has always overflowed with artists.
Her career began in the Bay's soulful live sessions, in rooms like Era Art Bar & Lounge, where singers, musicians and listeners gathered close and the music carried the night. After years of living and performing across the country, including nearly a decade on the East Coast, she came home to bring that feeling back.
Singers Lounge Sessions is that homecoming: an authentic, upscale, sexy night Oakland can look forward to every month. As host, her job is simple: set the mood, introduce the artist, and make every guest feel like a regular.
Parris has performed at Outside Lands, Stern Grove and the Super Bowl tailgate.
